You are a rock-star mom if you carefully planned your pregnancy or if it was more of a surprise.

You are a rock-star mom if you exercised methodically during your pregnancy or if you were placed on bed rest.

You are a rock star mom if you looked perfect your entire pregnancy or if you couldn’t find an outfit that fit in your last trimester.

You are a rock star mom if you gained just enough weight or if you are still trying to get rid of the fat and your baby is almost three.

You are a rock star mom if you went to every parenting class and read all the books or if you read what you could and made it to none of the classes.

You are a rock star mom if you took all the professional  pictures at all the right milestones or if you documented sporadically with your cellphone camera.

You are a rock star mom if you had a beautiful gender reveal and shower(s) or if it was more of a private, intimate family affair.

You are a rock star mom if you glowed the entire pregnancy or if you looked more like a drowned rat from the surprising heaviness of it all.

You are a rock star mom if you ate the recommended foods everyday or if you kept a chocolate mousse pie in your fridge.

You are a rock star mom if you loved every minute of your pregnancy or if you were counting the seconds before it ended.

You are a rock star mom if you chose to have a natural birth or if you were happy to have the epidural.

You are a rock star mom if you had a vaginal birth or if you had an emergency(or planned) Cesarian section.

You are a rock star mom if you knew just what to do with your newborn or if you felt completely lost and cried the entire first two months.

You are a rock star mom if your baby was a “good baby” or if your baby was a crazy hot mess, just like you.

You are a rock star mom if you were able to breast feed immediately or if you could never really get your baby to latch so you pumped and wished, looking back, that you had just done formula from the beginning because it was a living hell to pump.

You are a rock star mom if you looked radiant after just giving birth or if you looked bloated and fat.

You are a rock star mom if you invited visitors to love on your baby almost instantly or if you holed up in your home for months.

You are a rock star mom if you went back to work in 6 weeks or if you never went back to work.

You are a rock star mom if you chose the school for your baby to grow or if you chose to home school.

You are a rock star mom if you post tons of gorgeous pictures or if you don’t even have social media.

You are a rock star mom if you plan perfect parties for your baby or if you just have simple gatherings to celebrate.

You are a rock star mom if you spend all your spare time with your baby or if you plan time away from your baby.

You are a rock star mom if you go dress your child or if you let them dress themselves.

You are a rock-star mom if you feed them only natural, organic, well-balanced meals or if you make sure they eat something which even means doughnuts for dinner occasionally.

You are a rock-star mom if you bath them like clock work everyday or if some days baths consist of baby wipes.

You are a rock-star mom if you have a well-planned  nighttime routines and an exact bedtime or if you make sure they get to bed before you do.

You are a rock-star mom if they have spent every night in their own bed or if you sometimes let them co-sleep.

You are a rock-star mom if you protect them on the playground or if you allow some falls.

You are a rock star mom if you send them to your favorite private school or if you send them to the school in your school zone.

You are a rock star mom if you are the home room mom or if you watch the performances on video due to work.

You are a rock star mom if you remember every “special” dress up day or if you forget and need the teacher to help.

You are a rock star mom if you guide more decisions or if you are more there for if they need help.

The list could go on and on. There are so many different types of mothers. We make different decisions and do different things. In my opinion, you are a rock star mom if you make decisions that you feel are best for your child and your family. You make your decisions and live your life out of love. There is not right or wrong way to love your family and your child(dren). You do your best and don’t compare it to others. You are amazing and deserve cheers of praise.

So, from this rock star mom to another, HOORRAAYYYY! You are AWESOME!
